Guitar Amp World
Guitar and Bass Guitar amplifiers
Searching for a guitar amp can be a daunting task. With so many brands and different types of amps out there, it is hard to know what you want and what you need. This site will help match your skill level with the right guitar or bass amp.
Take the EVM-12L, add Zakk's personal specs (improved power handling, improved magnet design, better venting, and th Black Label colors), and now you have the greatest guitar loudspeaker in the world. Wanna argue with Zakk on that? I didn't think so. Remember: The only label is Black. Handmade by hardworking, real American folks in Morrilton, Arkansas, the EVM-12L Black Label is the product of EV blood and sweat.
The original EVM12L 12 in. loudspeaker was introduced in 1983. Known for its huge tone, gorgeous low-end and incredible stability at extreme volumes, it quickly achieved legendary status. Top guitarists and bassists loved it not only for its sound, but also for its reliability. Tour after tour, the EVM12L held up to the demands of the most punishing players.
With 2 x 1200 W @ 4 Ohms and 2 x 1800 W @ 2 Ohms, the ElectroVoice Q1212 offers the horsepower to challenge the legendary P3000. It provides the same power from a 2 RU chassis at modest weight, making it a perfect subwoofer or high-power top drive for Phoenix, Tour X and Zx3/Zx5 systems or system combinations.
The Q44 is based on EV's reference-standard P-Series. It guarantees the same high-quality construction and output, with a maximum power capability of 2x450 watts @4 Ohms. The Q44 is designed for cost-limited, mobile applications and an excellent choice for small fullrange tops and utility loudspeakers, such as ZX1, Sx Series or EVID series.
ElectroVoice Q66 MKII - the versatile workhorse of the new Q series amplifiers delivers 2 x 600W @4Ohms / 2 x 900W @2Ohms and provides flexible drive capability for a huge variety of speaker systems, including Sx300, ZX4, SB122 etc. Switchable LPN(Low-Pass Notch) filter circuitry provides extra tonal fundament and kick, with protective Low-Cut for using smaller passive 12 or 15 inch cabinets without additional subwoofers.
The ElectroVoice Q99 is based on a compact, highly efficient Class-H design. Delivering 2 x 900 W @ 4 Ohms and 2 1500 W @ 2 Ohms, the Q99 can deliver as combined top & sub drive for most club-sized systems, such as Tour X or QRx.
